Concert Programs

  • At the dawn of the 19th century, composers vied with each other in inventiveness to bring the guitar to a peak of expressiveness and virtuosity. The instrument had never been exploited with such panache and depth. This concert brings together grandiose and extroverted works like Regondi's Rêverie as well as sublime miniatures like Frederik Rung's Sarabande.
